Het museum is heden gesloten

De Nederlandse musea hebben massaal hun deuren gesloten op advies van het RIVM. Teylers Museum kondigde op Instagram het besluit aan met foto’s van enkele toepasselijke voorwerpen uit de collectie.

De Nederlandse regering besloot gisteren dat tot en met 31 maart evenementen met meer dan honderd personen niet door mogen gaan. Hiermee hoopt ze het aantal corona-besmettingen te beperken. Dat houdt ook in dat de meeste musea tijdelijk niet open zijn voor publiek.

In line with national policy concerning the coronavirus, Teylers Museum is closed to the public until and including 31 March 2020. We are following the advice as set out by the association of museums, as well as the National Institute for Public Health and Environment.⠀ ⠀ We will also have to cancel all planned group activities. We ask for understanding for this exceptional situation. We are happy to reschedule the reservations to another time.
